When you submit a franchise information request, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), zip code (optional), available capital range, purchase timeframe, and any message you include. When you submit a franchise listing request, we collect your brand name, contact information, company details, and any information you provide about your franchise system. When you contact us, we collect the information you include in your message.
Information Collected Automatically:
When you visit FindFranchise, we automatically collect certain technical information including your IP address, browser type and version, device information, pages viewed, time spent on pages, referral source, and general geographic location (based on IP). We use this information to improve the platform, analyze usage patterns, and prevent fraud.

With Franchise Brands: When you submit an information request for a specific franchise, we share your submitted information (name, email, phone, zip, capital range, timeframe, and message) with that franchise's development team. This is the core function of our platform.
With Service Providers: We share information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the platform, including hosting providers, email services, analytics tools, and customer support systems. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
